Join Opie, Carina & Q100.3 as they host Smokin' The Water 2018 in Kingston TN this 4th of July held on the banks of Watt’s Bar Lake along the city of Kingston's beautiful waterfront on Hwy 70!  It’s the biggest 4th of July Celebration in East TN!

Day Long Festivities include: Extreme BBQ Contest, Homemade Raft Race Competition, Car Show, plus tons of Kids Rides, Food Vendors & LIVE MUSIC all leading up to the ENORMOUS MEGA Fireworks Finale booming at exactly Dark O’clock synched to an ear popping musical soundtrack that will be broadcasted LIVE on Q100.3FM

Extreme BBQ Cookoff Contest
Are people always telling you your ribs are the BEST around? Or maybe you are looking to take your BBQ skills to the next level. Cook up some of your best pulled pork ribs or Brisket and participate in the Annual 4th of July BBQ Cookoff.

Prizes are as follows in each of the 3 judged categories, pulled Pork, Ribs, and brisket

Each of the winners will receive a trophy plus cash prizes

1st place- $800
2nd place - $400
3rd place - $250
* Also $50 Prize for Best Team T-shirt

Participants can start setting up on Tuesday July 3rd | Contest starts at 12 noon |

Homemade Raft Race -- Quest for the Golden Paddle
Get your rafts ready for the Annual 4th of July Watts Smokin’ the Water Raft Race and battle in the quest to race against homemade rafts for the coveted Golden Paddle

Rules-

Raft must be homemade - no commercial water craft
Total minimum size including down riggers and pontoons must be at least 4'x8'
Must have a (3) person crew
All crew members must wear life jackets
Raft must have an anchor
Raft must have a 50' tow rope
Raft must be powered by paddle, wheel or sail (no motorized propulsion)
All fasteners points must not exposed to damage other rafts
